Percussion Instruments of the Streets

On Saturday October 13th, in the Central Courtyard, the Percussion Set will continue to celebrate the Festival with a big “bam”. With the title “The Percussion of the Road”, they will rise up with their distinctive sound and movement, inviting us to an endless dance!

The Percussion Unstruments Ensemble Set was established in 2002-2003. It has a continuous presence at the events of the School, the Municipality of Larissa and other institutions of the city of Larissa. The ensemble participated in National musical competitions. In July 2016 the ensemble traveled to Italy and participated in the 20th Orchestra Festival, Festival Internazionale delle Bande Musicali, Valle d’Itria, in Cisternino. The ensemble’s program includes original percussion works, translations of classical and modern tracks, and rythms of “the streets” rhythms, where with their distinctive sound and movement, it raises the audience and invites it to an endless dance.
