Aikaterini Karra

I studied Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly. I hold a master’s degree in Applications of Molecular Biology-Molecular Genetics-Diagnostic Markers” from the University of Thessaly. I am currently a PhD student at the laboratory of Structural and Functional Biochemistry, my research project is “entitled “Biochemical Characterization of Glycocorticoid Receptor Mechanisms of Action. Plant steroids and their derivatives as putative selective glycocorticoids agonists “. I participate in many scientific conferences, to present my work and I have published original research and review articles in international scientific journals. I joined the Thessaly Science Festival, aiming to introduce Biological Sciences to everyday people.
